Tap Into Your Own Creativity

By Teresa King

Online marketing is a lot of fun. It is a lot more fun when you
have your own product. When you have your own product,
and you know that product is a good one, you will put your
whole heart and soul into your business.

Results?

You  make money, or build your list, or you decide that your
product bit the dirt, and you use your experience to create
another.  Some people can come up with a product, and
turn it into gold. Others need more trial and error. Each
failure is yet that much closer to your goal. Don't give up!

But, how do you figure out how to develop a product?

Creating your own product is not hard at all. It is a matter of
scouting around for:

1. What you think the net needs.
2. What you know already.
3. What someone else has, but you can improve on.
4. A combination of one and two and/or three.

How can you combine (needs) and your (knowledge)?

Take one of your current hobbies. You know your hobby.
Have you ever researched it?

Here is a suggestion tool that you can see how many people
have looked up the subject you may be interested in:
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

Take your occupation. You know your occupation.
Would it be interesting to others? If so, have you researched
to see what the demand is?

Remember, all marketing is based on supply and demand.
If there is a demand, then there is a market.

Finding your niche is a matter of coming up with ideas,
researching what is out there, and seeing if you have something
that isn't out there, or you what you can improve on and do
better than what is currently being offered.

Once you come up with an idea, don't stop yourself by saying
it is impossible, or you don't have the money. Or you don't
have the time. Do a little each day. Make a goal for each
week, and then get it done.

If what you want to do involves writing, write what you can.
Get it all down on paper. Spell check it and find an
editor who can help you get your product developed.

Can't write a salespage? Write what you want to say. The
benefits of the product that you want to develop, and find
a copywriter who will make you a fantastic salespage.

Once you decide on what you will develop, then you can
start getting it created and you can begin to look for
affiliate programs that will go with your product.

Remember in sales, when a person purchases one product
they may be interested in something that goes with it.

Picture walking into a shoe store. What happens?
You purchase your shoes, and they offer you shoelaces,
shoe polish, shoe wash..... even a shoe horn... wait, did
I forget the socks?  It is how businesses are managed
around the world.

There is no end to what you can market on the net. You
just start brainstorming and think to yourself, "What do
I love to do? And, can I make money with what I love to
do?"  Then believe that you can. And, you can!

Craft Tip:

Here are quite a few crafts to look into
http://bluebonnetvillage.com/projects.htm

~~~~~~~~~~~
Recipe:
~~~~~~~~
 Arby's Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:
1 C. Water
1/2 C. Catsup
2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1/4 C. White Vinegar
3/4 tsp. Onion Powder
3/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Paprika
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce (Lea & Perrins)
1/8 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
Corn Starch Mixture (thickening mixture)
1 Tbsp. Corn Starch
2 Tbsp. Water
Mix well set aside.

Preparation:

Place all sauce ingredients in a blender and blend on
high speed for 15 seconds. Pour ingredients into
a small saucepan, heat on medium low. Simmer gently
for twenty minutes, stirring several times. After
twenty minutes add corn starch mixture, stir well.
When sauce begins to thickens let simmer on the lowest
temperature for ten minutes.  Remove pan from heat
and let cool.

Mixture will be the thickness of a good steak sauce.
Store in a covered container in the refrigerator.
This sauce is a cool change on hamburgers and
delicious sauce to dip for hot wings.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Weight Loss Tip:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eat good fats. There is so much controversy about
keeping your fat down, that many starve themselves of
the essential fatty acids that they need.
Get Olive Oil and Vinegar on your Salads.
Read about flaxseed oil, and safflower oil.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Safety Tip:
Don't put your milk and mayo in your refrigerator door.
It's not cold enough.
Are you preparing your child for emergencies?
Kids do way better when given a specific drill to learn.
Just as you have fire drills at school, you may consider
having one at home, or what to do when a stranger
approaches, or how to call 911.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Parent Tip:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
With winter weather, kids have been cooped up more than
they are in the spring and summer. Make sure they are
getting much needed exercise. Children who get plenty
of water, sleep, fruits and veggies and exercise stay
healthy and alert.
If your child gets car sick, consider feeding him/her
gingersnaps before the trip. Ginger is great for
air and car sickness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Household Tip:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Open your windows for 10 to 15 minutes per day and let
some fresh air in.
Car Tip
~~~~~~~~
When you get your oil changed, be sure you have the
mechanic check your tire pressure.

~~~~~~~~
Marriage Tip?
~~~~~~~~~
I used to believe that a good marriage is meeting each
other 50/50, but in reality when you think about it, the
two of you should meet each other 100 percent.

Today's Joke

AH, the Power of Words
~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Smith family was very proud that their ancestors
had come over on the Mayflower, so they hired best-selling
author Frank McCourt to research and write a book about
their family history.
Horror of horrors! They discovered that great Uncle Fess
had died in the electric chair for committing a murder.
They were devastated.
They didn't want that in the book, but they didn't want
to leave him out either.
McCourt said, "Leave it to me."
When the book came out, the section about Uncle
Fess read like this: "He was a man who occupied a great seat.
He was attached to his position very firmly. His death
came as a great shock."
