I know that I can't live without my Epsons, I have a c66 and a c88, most stores dont carry the c66 anymore the 88 is the new one

Anyway I use the Epson ink (Durabrite) in the c88 and generic in the c66, I use the 88 for things that I need a better or water resistent ink for, it is expensive (individual cartridges) but I buy it at a discount store here and it lasts about a month

I use Hammermill Business Gloss paper for my wrappers and such

Anywho I hope this helps ya some

Epson or Canon. You can't go wrong with either one.

I have a couple suppliers for ink if you need...for either one.

Good for you! No, the 66 is just the printer. Good idea to use the HP for a scanner. Have fun with your new printer!

I use a HP deskjet 3820 and I love it.

But was wondering............  Does anyone use a color laser printer at all?  I know they're pretty pricey but was thinking it would be a lot more cost effective when printing out a bunch of wrappers.

I do I love my laser printer I know I will not spell it right so will not try but it is a K......M.....2300. I had a craft show today and took it with me Last year my printer went out at the craft show so I wasn't taking any chances this year, now it is large and heavy but it does a lot of wrappers at once and I don't have to buy ink that often (thank God because it is $70 per container anyways I love it.

Can you tell a big difference in the quality of print between the laser and the inkjet?  I wanna get me one soooo bad, but I just bought me a new computer yesterday, so the color laser will have to wait a bit.  At least until I get the computer paid off.  lol

The print quality is superior in my opion on a laser printer, the color is more pure, clearer now i have had about 6 different printers and my laser i have had for about a year and i do alot of printing and have not purchase new ink yet. I was buying ink for my jet printer every few weeks. So for me it is alot cheaper over time. I paid $350 for the printer it was a model from the year before.

I also use a laser printer.  I have a Oki Data 5200 series.  You get a crisp clean picture that has a sheen even on a non coated paper.  The ink does not smudge off and the print time is so quick.  Each cartridge is about $100 but you get close to 4000 pages out of them.  The printer itself cost about $499.00 but since I have printed over 30,000 wrappers in about 8 months, it has more than paid for itself.  It is an investment, but well worth it.
Good luck with your shopping.
