Cricut Cartridges

I just bought a Cricut - havent received it yet - but I was wondering if I wanted to do borders, what cartridge should I get.  Is the Sure Cuts a Lot one that I would get a lot of use out of.

I suggest you download the trial version of Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL) and Make-theCut software.  Do a few tutorials for each, then decide which one you like better.  Both of these programs have really good forums and lots of help posted there.  It is really a personal preference.  I have had SCAL for quite sometime, then purchased Make-the-Cut.  Love them both for different reasons.  I tend to use Make-the-Cut more often though.  As I mentioned in another post, there are thousands of free svg files on blogs, forums and websites (believe me, I think my hard drive has them all).
