Was testing out a new blade replacement for an ailing RC and it looks like just what the doctor ordered - it did a great cut job on small openings. The box is sturdy even though it has a lot of holes - would make a great treat box for a Halloween party.

Are they a new type of blade paulette? I haven't used my cr for about 2 years, I was just so sick of needing new expensive blades after every few cuts! and the box is really great - well done

Oops, just saw this Faith! Yes, there is a new one, glad to see someone else had the same problem with their CR. A few pages and my blade was wasted. This one seems to cut better and it lasted a bit longer, but it has dulled also and I was cutting much thinner paper than cardstock. I guess I will end up cutting some sheets of foil paper size, taping to my mat and running thru and at least 1,2,3 blade settings. I guess the old machine just goes thru blades??
