Hi all!  I was just sitting here thinking about the day I purchased WrapCandy and how happy I am that I did stumble across it on eBay.  I took a chance and purchased it and have been in love ever since...lol.

I'm curious to know how you came across WC.  Care to share your story?

I was looking through Ebay for favors for my daughter's baby shower. I came across WC Software and thought "I love working on the computer and I can probably do this". So I purchased it and I am so happy I did. Besides making a little extra money, I have made the most wonderful, caring friends.

I was looking for another piece to add to my business.  I had seen the custom candy wrappers on someone's website (forgot who's) and I said I bet I could do those myself.  Did a Google search and here I am.
I love the Wrap Candy program!

I happened across some sites and decided I wanted to try the software. I looked at every site that offered candy wrapping software and tried to decide who offered the best and easiest to use. It came down to two brands and i decided on wc because of the forum. I had never been on, or posted on a forum before, but what I saw here tipped the scales in favor of wc. I certainly never thought the forum would become this big a part of my life but I'm glad it did.

A little over 3 years ago, it was going to be my dad's 90 birthday. I was on ebay and came across candy wrappers, mini's etc. So I emailed this guy and he did me up 100 soe's then I emailed this other lady for 150 mini's. All I got was the wrappers and I had to cut out the minis, no instruction included in how to wrap then. It cost me 75.00 for then all plus I had to buy the candy bars and mini's. They was okay but I was thinking to myself I can do these and make then look better. So I did a google search, I found one brought it, no way, did another and brought it. it is so so, use it now and then. Then I found wrapcandy and found that, and the rest is history. I laminate all mine and that just brighten the colors, then with the foil and all.
Plus all the great folks here on the forum for all the help and sets, graphics. I couldn't ask for more, your all the greatest. And a big thank you for Ryan for taking the time to do this forum and keeping it running.

I am with Holly, bought wrappers from several people on ebay.  Some came nice, others did not.  $175 later I have tossed all but a few of the labels away and did a better job with design and higher quality paper.  I too received them not cut and without directions, etc.

I started looking for software and stumbled across wrapcandy.com and a vendor from ebay.  I talked to the ebay person and asked several questions because I was trying to decide between 2 software products.

Walaaaaaaaaaaaa I am here and wrapped everything in sight for my son's wedding  LOL  But have to tell you without this forum I would not be here 4 months later!

I had been doing my own candy wrappers for years on MS Word... Did minis on labels, etc. Then I saw the cute little labels for hershey kisses...I had to make them!

Went searching for some software and just ordered WC...best investment I ever made! I had no idea about the forum until after I purchased...so we get an added bonus! LOL!

I wanted to do candy wrappers for a graduation, did a search on eBay and google found two sites I was interested in and decided to give WrapCandy a try.  This was one of the best things I could have done for myself.  I  have been a member for years.  You will find a great group here.

This year April I was looking for something that I can do for a business at home while I watch my daughter. So I searched candy wrappers to look at on ebay to see if I can make the wrappers too..then decided to type in home business or candy business I forgot lol and the wrapcandy software listing showed up! I was excited but also hesitant, so I just told myself to buy it and give it a try. So ever since April 2009 I been on here posting posting posting hehe! Oh and making wrappers and more! I am also a dealer for cherubs-n-chocolate where people order from a catalog from me and the place where i order from they make the wrappers and I just personalize them.  Personally I like making wrappers and other things because it's more personal! I am happy with wrapcandy!

I wanted to make some wrappers for my son's graduation and came across Wrapcandy and been hooked ever since.  I have two other wrapper programs but, they don't work as good as Wrapcandy.  I was glad when I came across this site!!!!  It's the best investment I've made regarding wrapping programs.

It was a dark and eery night...about 1a-2a up on the internet trying to find work at home jobs, when work at home jobs turned into a search for work at home opportunities. Wrapcandy popped up and i got to thinking, 'you've always wanted to work for yourself, this could be it' and then i said no. but then i couldn't stop thinking about it, so the very next day i said, take a chance! a few days later, the software came in the mail, i downloaded it and immediately thought, 'did i just waste my money?' and then i came on here to see what other people had thought and i found my second family! when i made my very first SOE, i knew nothing about clipart/graphics other than what came with windows XP when i bought it. so i bought sitckers from AC Moore and put them on there (now i know, embellishments!!) and then SCANNED the entire SOE with the stickers to try to get the look that i'd kept seeing on here. didn't work out until i read on here how you do it! now, i can whip up a SOE quick fast and in a hurry. This is my passion, my business, my love and all b/c one night i was looking for a job, now i have a passion!

I ordered some personalised mini's for my sons christening and when they turned up the quality of the colours used on the wrappers were not that good.  So I decided to re-do them.  It took me a while but it got me thinking that I could do this, and as am a first time mum at home,  I thought it would be a good easy business to run from home.  Googled and found wrapcandy and am so glad I did.

I love being creative and really enjoy using wrapcandy,  and to think that I wasn't sure about wrapcandy when I got it .....so glad I stuck with it.

About 13 years ago when my sister's grandson was born she handed out wrapped bars she ordered from Hershey's.  I was fascinated immediately.  I decided I could come up with something similar.  I, also, did mine through MS Word (and a lot of trial and error!).  During the next several years, I would come back to it whenever someone had a baby.  When I changed careers and moved back home I suddenly found myself with nights and weekends free and turned to who else but GOOGLE.  Checked out the website, saw the price and took a leap of faith!  Had no idea how addicting it would become and how much fun it would be.  And the forum???  Well, that goes without saying.  Just a bunch of great people (and like all families, a few nuts like myself to keep things interesting!).

I have been doing wrapper for special occasions for 9 years now for my children (wow, I didn't realize it's be that long). I always managed to turn out a nice final product but always thought there had to be an easier way then all the fooling around. I decided to search the net looking for a program that would be a good fit to what I wanted to do and found WrapCandy on eBay. I never bought it right away, I am one of those people who has to compare and review all aspect before I purchase anything. WrapCandy was by far the best program I came across so I purchased it and the rest is history!

About two years ago my parents went to a birthday party and received an SOE as a favor.  I thought (just like some of you)..."Wow I could do that"!!  So time went by and last August I found the WrapCandy program online after searching for candy wrappers.  The program is good, but BY FAR the best part is the generosity and friendship on this forum!!  On days that I have to work my real job, I can't wait to get home to see all the posts that I've missed.  Thank you, everyone, for being such terrific wrapper friends.  And thanks, Ryan, for starting all this!!!!

My husband lost his job in February and I was searching for an inexpensive way to generate income and came up with candy wrapping.  I researched inside and out all of the software packages available and happened across 2 things that sold me on candy wrapping and the candy wrapper software; Wrapperville and the WC vendor on Ebay.  Wrapperville was just so cool I joined immediately and the WC vendor on Ebay was so helpful and quick to respond that she totally sold me on WC.  The WC forum was a major bonus, and the software was so easy to use I am glad I made the choices I made.  First thing I did was design my business cards, my advertising wrapper and a business flier all using WC software, how cool is that.  My fliers went out on the 4th, hand delivered door to door, and I received my first order from them on the 5th.   Thank you Wrap Candy and all the wonderful people that make up the Wrap Candy Family.

I had been creating my own wrappers for my grandkids for a a liitle while and thought after many tries and wasted paper and ink I thought there must be an easier way of doing this.  I stumbled onto the wrapcandy website and after investigating other software and prices I figured I had nothing to lose.  I have never been sorry.  You have heard me say this many times, if this forum did not exist I would have been out of business a long time ago.  The generosity and true friendship that is found here is just amazing.  All of the excitement when somebody comes up with something and is so willing to share it with the rest of us just amazes me.  I was afraid to share for a long time thinking my designs were never as nice as what the true designers come up with.  Everybody has been very encouraging with thier comments and I think that is why this forum is the most popular one online. We really are "family". I love you guys!

I had a version of "My Wrapper" that is very limited to what you can do with it, only candy bar wrappers and I decided to see if there was a better program out there and there definitely was. I love Wrap Candy, I don't do any designing myself as I have no imagination but everyone is so wonderful to help out. Thanks again to everyone that has helped me out when I needed or wanted something designed. I truly appreciate it.

Summer of 2002 I started planning a 40th birthday party for my husband for July 2003 - looking for something personal and uinque. I stumbled upon some sites selling candy wrappers, and I ended up trying to make one, but it wasn't very good and I did not end up making candy wrappers - opted for NO CHOCOLATE as it was a July party held outside. I made most everything else, including invitations, and CDs with personalized labels that contained pictures and movies from the party, which I sent to guests with thank-you cards after the party.

I went back to search for candy wrapper ideas again (not sure what date/year), and found WC in fall of 2004.

I had tried a couple of 'other' candy wrapping 'programs', but.....I didn't like them much.

The rest, as they say, is history!

I was at my nephew's graduation party and my sister had bought some mini's from a lady she knew. Being the crafter that I am I thought , "I can do that" .  So I got on line googled candy wrappers and up popped WrapCandy.  The price was right and it looked like software I could learn to use and have been here ever since.
