Anyone can post the name of an artist they know of who allows their graphics to be shared in locked format, and we will keep the list going on this first post for a quick review.

If you don't understand the terms, you can post the artist's name and one of us mods will check the terms and either add the artist to the Go List, or edit your post to show that they cannot be used (ex. PCCrafters does not allow)

delightful doodles has a limited list of graphic sets she allows to be shared on the forum in locked format. You need to check with her to be sure. Not all her sets can be shared in wrapper format.

OK, I hate to ask this and sound stupid, but, here I go. Can you please explain what the "locked format" is? And what can you do with locked format graphics? Sorry, but I don't know. ????

locked format means the graphics can't be moved around. If you make a wrapper in cwr for instance, and I snag it, I would be able to take the graphics off of it. If you take that cwr and save it as say a jpeg, then it is locked meaning the individual graphics can't be removed.
Did that make sense? I think I confused me and I understood it before I started typing lol.

You can also take that jpeg and bring it back into wc and save it again as a cwr if you would rather post that way. It will be locked but will come up full size in wrapcandy when it's opened. Then people who are fairly new don't have to guess at what size it needs to be.

Unfortunately, PCCrafters restricts the use of their graphics extensively, even how many copies you can make, and they NEVER allow you to post anything you make with them unless you watermark it so the graphics can't be stolen. As Joann said, you'll NEVER see them on this list. :-(

If it is a set that I have shared to "stay" in the Awesome Wrappers area then you may share on this forum "only". It must state in the share that it is a PERMANENT share. Please give credit and a link back to where the original share is located so that others may get creative too. :0) This would be the monthly freebies that I put up as permanent shares. Some would be the Bingo items, the Easter scrapping set like the eggs, backgrounds and borders and the Gold Two Hearts as one graphic. Some items I share as a limited time share and I wish those to remain property of Awesome Wrappers. If in doubt at all, you may ask.

Oh, and I want to personally thank everyone for the well wishes and prayers for my father. I'll keep you updated but it means more to me than you realize. I have a wonderful family biological and here on Wrap Candy. You all mean a lot to me.

Yes, as long as they're merged onto something else, they can be shared. Please make sure you also give credit to the artists for their work as well.

Please DOUBLE check your graphic sources' TOUs.Us moderators are here to check up the WC forum and this list is just an extra, so it's also up to the designers to double check the TOUs.
I will update it as I have some free time and start a new thread.
