I just used my Martha Stewart scoring board for the 1st time . . .

I have been talking with MsJaay in the chat room, and, she told me how much she loved her scoring board.  So, I got one Wednesday.  I just tried to make an envelope, and, voila, it worked great.  I'm sure mine was a little rough around the edges, but it did look like an envelope.  I got it at Michael's, and, it was $ 19.99.  I am looking forward to using it a lot.  I think you can even score boxes, etc. with it.  Just thought I would let you all know, in case you have wondered about getting one, or are having trouble scoring in a straight line.     Now, I just have to learn how to do everything with it.

OK, here we are.  The first one shows the package it came in.

Ok Hearts, here is a challenge for you, to help you get use to using the scoreboard.  Cut a (12 x 12) cardstock or designer paper to 11 x 3-1/4.   Then score at 1", 5" & 7".  Then cut designer paper to 3-1/8 x 3" This will be for the front of the (Tent) and for the flap cut designer paper to: 3-1/8 x 7/8. Then glue to (Candy Tent), it should look similar to my tent.   Show your stuff.  LOL!

Cool Nancy you got one..yes i love mine as well....it saved me a heap of time when i did those 350 mint books, have used it for my boxes and anything else.  I haven't used it yet to score just a box but you can the instructions show you how, but yes getting straight lines this thing makes it all better,lol..i got mine for Christmas.

OK, here it is.  It was so fun to make.   I didn't have any 'designer' paper, so, used a piece of stationery I had.  And, used twine for the bow, and, I think I was supposed to make two holes and tie the ribbon through them.  I need to go back and find your picture, and look at it.  Although, I suppose you could do it either way.    LOL

FYI: you can even do the front design with WC program for personalization.  You can add holes, no holes, just tie ribbon around, anything will do.

Nice and you didnt have to print anything,lol.. i need to try that myself.. a booklet came with the board i havent tried anything from it.

Thanks, girls.  It is so fun.  MsJaay - how do you know all the dimensions to make all this stuff?  The book only has one box, and one envelope in it.

Ok Hearts, one more before my lunch is over, then I will have a few more when I get home.  Try this one.  (Gift Card Holder)  Use cardstock or designer paper.  Cut to 6-5/8 x 4-1/4, then score at 2-3/8 x 4-7/8, the smaller flap is the open and close tab.  I will post my pic for this one later.   Show me your stuff.  LOL!

ok, will do, but will be a little later.   I just did my nails, and they are drying.  I'm getting new rings this afternoon, and, needed to do a couple touchups, but will definitely be working on this as soon as I can.  I get my rings at 3 pm, just an hr. and 10 min.  I'm excited.
