New Idea? Ice Cream Cone wrappers? Whatcha all think?

I was pondering some new ideas over the past few days and was wondering if anyone had a template or shares of ice cream cone wrappers for the flat bottom ice cream cones....people make cupcakes in them as well as ice cream...just wondering if I was going bananas with all of my thinking today..heheheheh

Hmm, i know there are wrappers for the cone shapes..not sure about this type, seems pretty easy if you are just wrapping around the bottom part..just measure around it to get the width and measure the length.

Don't have any templates, but very good idea for little tykes birthday parties. Don't have to worry bout Ice Cream melting. No Mess

I wonder if the cone wrappers from McDonalds or Dairy Queen would be the right size to fit the cones that we purchse for at home use?

...hmmm...since you are forcing me to .....lol.......I may have to take a walk over to Dairy Queen tonight and buy a cone just to get the wrapper to make a template!!

Just an FYI, you probably will need a food license if you are wrapping the actual cone with paper that has ink.   If you can over wrap a cone with place then ok.  It would have to be for personal use only.

Thanks so much everyone....Paula...I feel so bad about you having to walk to Dairy Queen...we don't have any in our area or I would definitely do that....enjoy your cool treat....here in Philly we are going to hit 100 again tomorrow...uggggg  so happy the place where I work is air conditioned...but ice cream right about now sounds soooo yummy....where is Mr. Softee when I need him...any other time he's up and down our street 2 and 3 times a day...heheh  Unfortunately he doesn't serve the wrappers with his cones though.

okay ....I forced myself to go have an ice cream cone !!  Thanks to Kathie sharing this idea with us     (Babs and Kathie....dont feel too bad for me walking ....I'm in a small community so pretty much everything is within walking distance .... and when I was youger, I used to walk 5 miles everyday ...just for the exercise ...and did it twice a day on my days off...since I got fibromyalgia, I cant do that anymore.... but getting out and walking a little bit is good for me ...especially if I am going to eat ice cream after the walk !)


I traced the cone wrapper and scanned it ...so this is a rough template...if anyone can make it better ...please feel free to have a go at it ...

 ...I just got a small cone, thinking that was the closest in size to the packaged cones ...so feel free to resize this to fit the cones you purchase!!

I think if I do any of these for customers, I will just print the wrappers to order ...would not mess with the cones them selves...let the customer put the wrappers on
...for family or friends I would do them themself but would not need a license for personal use.

hope someone can use it ...(and hope you will let us know if it fits or if it has to be re-sized)
