Hi,
I am brand new to wrap candy and so excited to be here!! I have been searching through the templates and I only see candy bar wrappers as options. I was under the impression that I could customize items other than wrappers. Am I in the wrong place? How would I be able to view the different items I can customize? I look forward to meeting all of you and getting started in this creative journey!

Welcome, Kristin! You'll love it here. To answer your question, what items are you looking to customize other than wrappers? Most of the items on here are for candy, but we also design for bookmarks, gallon & quart cans, microwave popcorn, water bottle labels, coasters, post-it note holders, glass blocks, and many other items.

I was also looking to design invitations, shirt decals and otehr things. Also, whenb I open candy bar templates or borth announcement templates I don't see many of them, maybe 4 or 5 designs. Does the software include more templates to choose from?

When you open wrapcandy and click on new choose templates from the drop down menu ! where it says preset that helps with some and others are on the forum

You really can design anything you want. You'll find TONS of designs if you go through the many pages of shares on this forum. It will take a while, but it's worth it. You can also do a search for particular items.

search button is located near the top of the page under your sign in name...fourth button from the left...(there is also a search button at the top right of the page ...but the first one I mentioned will bring you better results)

there are a lot of invitation shares on the forum , but as far as shirt decals, you wont get a lot of results searching under that ...you would be better searching for a specific theme and then use the prahics or shares provided to design your own decal....not too many t shirt decal shirts here...but tons of shares that would certainly work to make them!
as for invitations you might also search for "invite" to get a few more things to look at ...also at the botoom of each topic is a section called related topics...as you start checking through the results you get from your search query....check through those as well .

dont feel bad about asking questions....ask away ...someone will stop in and try to help......each of us was new with questions at one point or another, best way to learn is to just keep looking around the forum and checking each different forum and ask questions !

Welcome Kristin! You are sure to find designs for just about anything on here. Many people share their designs. Be sure to check out the Round Up at the beginning of each month for graphics and designs that you are sure to want to grab up and use. If you can dream it....you can achieve it with WC. I have designed vinyl decals, magnetized decals, t-shirt transfers, candy wrappers, tags, and good Lord the list can go on and on! Have fun searching and NEVER be afraid to ask any question.
