I was thinking that it might be an idea to have an area for just shares...this way there is no confusion on where to post a share. This would also help members when they are looking for a certain something. It could even be an area that had the kind of share separated like gallon,full sets etc.
Just a thought ;-)

I'm not a mod but can answer a little bit. There is a forum area called Wrapcandy Pre-Made Template Forum with all of the different templates in different sub-forums and there is also the Graphics fun forum for graphics. But... as time has gone on, everyone just posts in the main forum and the template area has been pretty much forgotten. Now, the people do use the Graphics fun forum and the members protected forum reguarly.

If you go to the See All Forums tab and scroll down to the bottom you will see the different sub forums for Hershey bars, etc... I don't believe there was ever one made for Paint Cans.

Is the members area the only forum that is viewable only by paid members who own the wc software? Some may be concerned sharing their work with those outside of this area.

There is round-up each month where we do a combined sharing thread. But then again, it's only once each month.

Good idea Shantell. I have been thinking of suggesting something along this line also but breaking it down different subsections like Birthday, religious etc... etc... Just not sure how it would work with the privacy etc... of the forums.

I think Lee can answer this one better, because she knows the forum inside out.
But, I think it would just make things far too confusing.
We have various graphics fun forums for Christmas, weddings, backgrounds, etc already.

I think what makes it difficult is what is put in the subject line. Sometimes the subject makes it impossible to search .... but I know what you mean ---

Shantell, this is how it was before. We had a separate area and I believe it was called LTS or something like that. But, it was on our old forum. With each new forum that is rebuilt, the options and features are different.

At first, we shared anywhere, then started grouping into little forums and keeping them secured so outside viewers could not view them at all.

We have tried so many different ways. We as Moderators are always trying to move threads into the correct category to allow an easier search for the members.

Round Up is the one new forum in the last couple years exclusively for shares on a monthly basis.

And as mentioned above, we have the Graphic Fun threads...
