The Pros and Cons on the Martha Stewart Score Board... FYI

Mind you, this is just my opinion. But I thought I'd share with anyone looking to purchase it some of the things I have come to realize about it.

First, let me say that I was able to use a 50% off coupon, so I actually purchased it for $10.86 including tax, which to me, is an awesome deal.

Second, the size of the board is a nice one, you can actually score paper up to 12 x 12".

First the pros-

CLEAN SCORES, NO PRESSURE ON THE ARM, GREAT RESULTS, STURDY BOARD, SCORE ALOT OF DIFFERENT SIZE VARIATIONS AT ONE TIME, NO NEED FOR METAL RULER

Now the cons-

PRECUTTING AROUND THE PAPER, AS SOME PRINTERS DO NOT PRINT THE EXACT SAME TIME FOR MULTIPLE PRINTS, PEOPLE WITH UNSURE HANDS CAN REALLY MESS UP A SCORE

When all was said and done, I really do like using it. it makes everything so much faster in the long run. If you can afford to buy one, you probably should, as I have cut my prep time in more than half.

Hey Nancy, how are you? I use my score board for ALL of my scoring, whether its minttoppers, gable boxes, pinch boxes, anything that I need to score, I use this board, I absolutely love it. I learned tho as I stated in my post that I have to cut out my designs first, as my printer sometimes prints repeat pages different. So to be safe, I just precut around the edges, then I can line up the score lines and go. I also modified my board a little bit, by coloring inside each score line with a sharpie marker in different colors, so that I could line up exactly to the line I need, I did this on the top and tha bottom of the board, it is so much easier.

SSShhhhhh, don't tell Martha about this little trick. LOL
