Jennifer, I use the 45gram bar.  I use gloss photo paper, wrapped in foil and the clear sleeve.

It works for me here and I do have people telling me that it is a great price.  I market my bars as a card and a treat.  For the price of greetings cards... this IS cheap ;)

Hi Amanda :)

I actually use the 52g Caramilk bar so I dont have to worry about the foil. I have my wrappers professionally printed on high quality semi gloss paper and then also place them in a clear plastic sleeve. I sure wish I could sell mine for $3.50 each.....I get people complaining at paying $2.35!!

I live in Canada myself and I sell my bars for 3.00.... I have never had a proplem selling them at that cost!!!! Ive had only one person ask why so much for one bar, once i explained that I buy bars, use ink and HIGH gloss paper then the foil and the clear bags, plus my time,im not really making anything off of it even at 3.00... This person right away said I totally understand now and said I should be uping it.. The way i see it people need to price there stuff so there making more then what it cost to make them!

yikes. perhaps i should charge more. i charge $1.89 for a finished bar (no transparent sleeve). and 89 cents for the wrapper only.

even sam's club has raised its prices on hershey bars :(  i sell the minis for 49 cents each, more profitable.

and whats a pouch?

I charge $2.25 for mine.
That includes the bar and printing, and I only do SCEs.
Bars here at BJ's are $19.95 for a box of 36 right now.

Wow ! I sell the wrapper, foil and sleeve for $1.00.  I think I might have to raise the price.  I don't sell with the chocolate.

I haven't been here for quite some time, but I'm getting back into my candy wrapping...and wondered how much to charge for wraps for suckers.  Also, I cannot remember how to start a new topic on the forum; can someone please tell me how?

Thank you all!!  It's good to be back on here.

I'm also in Canada and chocolate bars here are $1.08 each plus 12% tax which puts them at $1.21 each. Then I need to add the wrapper, foil and sleeve to that.  For the foil I bought a higher end gold Christmas wrapping paper and cut it to size. I tried ordering foil and sleeves from online from a link shared here but the shipping would have cost $35.00 and there is no way I'm paying that kind of money for shipping alone. If anyone here knows of a place here in Canada or the the USA that doesn't charge and arm and a leg for shipping would you please post it here so I can check it out.  I've been charging $3.25 for ink eaters and $2.75 for ink savers. So far I've had no complaints.
