Confusion on snagging a file

What is the best way of saving a file when snagging other forum artwork?  What I understand is, the old forum, you may have to click on the picture than save?  Is that true in the new forum?  I was searching and found Paula artwork for candy bouquets, they were shared in 2011, so I was saving by clicking on the paperclip.  I accidently clicked on the picture and it grew, so I saved it that way.  The difference in Microsoft Office Picture manager it shows bigger on the one which I clicked on the picture than saved.  I dont see anything different in wrapcandy software?

Yes on the old forum we saved by enlarging the graphic..on the new forum some still do it that way...i click on the name under the graphic and save image as. You wouldn't need it that large in WC, would think it to big to put on any of the templates used on here.

if you click on the picture in the new foruim, it saves smaller size than if you save by clicking the link under the pic. In the old forum, yes, most shares you click and save the enlarged picture. I save by clicking under the picture
