Does Wrap Candy only work with Windows?

Pam I know how you feel. Hubby bought me an iMac and none of the software I use to design with works with iMac. I use the wrapcandy and PSP -- unless you have photoshop for iMac and you can download the GIMP for iMac which is free. I did recently but I have to learn how to use it.

Pam, I have a Mac laptop. I installed Parallels and Windows on it and can now use wrapcandy software on it. Excuse my ignorance but is IMac the same?

TY to all! I would think Mac and IMac are similar since both by Apple. I was told that I can install Windows for $100 on my IMac and then I would think I can use whatever apps I've used in the past on my new computer. I'm still learning too and thank God I still have a running Windows computer...

Yeah, it cost me quite a bit to buy, the window and parallels programs. I was hesitant to purchase them because of the price and I was afraid it wasn't going to work but it works fine. I use the wrapcandy program on my Mac, no problem. It just takes alittle getting used to because I had windows for so long. I do have to say my Mac runs alittle slower since I downloaded windows.

Yes, IMac and Mac are the same...people just call it different name, ie, iPhone also. All made by Apple. And no, Wrap Candy does not work on the Mac computer unless it does have the Windows added as mentioned above.

Graceg and when you want to use the Mac programs do they work okay? My fear is that everything will freeze and for the computer to crash. I have been looking to buy the Parallels too, and you have to download windows also correct? Well might have to do that....lol Hubby has a new desktop now and I took over it because was not getting the hang of the Mac....lol

Vivian, I have no problem using the MAC programs or the Windows program. I am still learning to use my MAC tho. I mostly use my HP computer but I like the idea of using the laptop wherever I go. I really wanted it so when I babysit my grandson at my daughter's house I could work on my wrappers there. I have all my graphics and finished wrappers on flashdrives so I can just take everything along. I've had the MAC since Christmas and so far no problems.
