OK, ok my turn. I am Monica and I turned 36 on Jan 15th. I am an Army vet where I met my wonderful hubbie, age 30 and we will have our ten year anniversary this year. We have three beautiful and VERY energetis children. Brittany, Breanna and Nasir age three. Yes they are triplets. I still have horrible back pain. I started out making photo dvds after my father passed in Nov of 2004 ans stumbled upon wrapcandy in 2005. I have never been a crafty kind've gal until I discovered this place and now I can't stop. While I still make videos and other digital gifts I have found myself pushing it to the back burner, how bad of me. I recently moved to Florida from Maryland (originally from NJ) and have met some very wonderful home based business moms and they have helped me tremendously with networking and with potential clients. I love to help out when I can because I receive so much help from you all already. Guess that's about it.

Hi, my name is Maria. I am 53 years of age. I have three children. My daughter Susan is 33 and has a son Nate who is one and just blessed me with another grandson on Thursday. I have a son John who is 28 and married. I also have a younger daughter Carol who is 24. I have a dog named Molly and my daughter's two cats are presently staying with me for awhile, and their names are Peaches and Tigger. I started doing WC in Sept of 2005. I purchased it to make my daughter's baby shower favors. I was looking on Ebay when I came across the software. I am not a designer by any means, but I love putting everything together. I enjoy getting to know everyone on WC. It truly is like a family. The kindness, generosity and compassion is so overwhelming. I truly cannot begin to tell you how glad I am that I purchased WC.

Hi everyone, my name is Joanne and I live in Alabama. I'm 53 and married to a wonderful man for 31 years.(He's stationed in Germany for a year right now). I have 3 beautiful children Amy-30, Anna 26 and Matthew 22. I am a stay at home mom. Worked a lot at the school. Wish I had wrapcandy then the kids would have loved the things I could have made. Well it's my turn so here goes :)

I'm Karen and I'm from Western Pennsylvania. I just turned 44 years young this past November. My first marriage last quite some time - 17 years - and I have 2 stepchildren from that marriage and one beautiful daughter with my first hubby. Her name is Ashley and she'll be 21 in May. I have an 8 month old granddaughter from Ashley who is truly the light of my life and her name is Aleeyah :) In September, 2006, I married a second time to Larry who is truly my soulmate :) Larry was married previously and so I have a stepson through him - Rob, who is 25 years old. I love all of my children as if they were all my own biological children :) Larry and I maintain a wonderful relationship with my stepchildren from my previous marriage and our own two children. We have one dog - a Rottweiler named Jetta - which is where I got my business name from "Bella J Creations".

I started looking for favor ideas when my Ashley first told me she was pregnant in November 2005 and I stumbled upon our WC software. Being a brunette who has blonde moments, it took me awhile to find the forum of course :) I really enjoy wrapping candy and doing some designing here and there. My goal this year is to really get my name and products out there to make a few extra bucks.

I worked as a secretary/paralegal for 17+ years at a local law firm and I'm now retired. I now work for my parents at their family owned and operated business in the auto repair, towing and salvage business. It's part-time but working for family can make you wanna rip your hair out sometimes.. but I love my parents and will always be there when they need me.

My husband Larry is still recuperating from an extensive colon cancer surgery and almost 8 grueling months of chemotherapy.. but he's a survivor! When he's well enough, he will go back to managing my father's business for him which is a huge load off of my dad who is 69. Larry also buys and sells cars for extra income for us.

Find the WC Forum was one of the best things for me :) Everyone here is always so friendly and helpful. Now that I have a little knowledge under my belt (and mind you it's not much), my goal is to try to give back to the WC Forum all of the wonderful things I've learned.

Special Note to Sarah: This is an awesome thread Sarah and thank you so much for starting it girl :)

PS: As with every post I do... I really went overboard here typing War and Peace LoL. Sorry about that :)

Me next I guess

I'm Karen and I live in Warren County N.J. (about 10 minutes from PA). I am 36 and will be 37 in May. I have been married to my wonderful husband Duane for almost 10 years. We have 2 sons and a daughter. Cory, 17 - D.J. - 14 and my lilttle Erin. My poor son Cory had just got his permit a month ago and I am still to afraid to drive with him. After all, he is my husbands son and I know how he drives.

I have been bartending for just under 20 years but have brought that down to very part time and work part time at a Construction Co. also.

My sister-in-law found this program and bought it for me for Christmas 2005. I had recently cut my hours at work and this would take up some of the free time I had. I always need to be doing something. She just dosen't realize how big the gift she gave me was. Each and every day I look forward to coming into this forum and enjoying the wonderful new family I have come to know and love. You are all such special people.

I am definately not a designer, and not that creative so there is not alot of shares on my part but I always try to take the time to say a thank you whether I snag or not.

That's about it for me. Nothing special, just loving this site.

Ok I guess its my turn. Hello my name is Cindy and I just turned 49 on january 5th. I live in IL. about 20 miles northwest of chicago. I am an asst. manager in the deli of a large grocery chain here. I am single just have`nt found the right guy. My grandmother lives with me who will be 92 on march 11 (bless her heart). She is very self sufficent she just can`t live alone. She recently started dialysis in October and the doctors say she cannot be alone and she is doing very well with all she goes through.Enough about her. I have two cats calley and lacey and one dog skeeter who is 6 years old. Calley and lacey are 9.

I am so glad I stumbled on to wrapcandy and the forum I really enjoy it. I have psp x and its got the best of me. I am computer illiterate and design challenged but I am learning more everyday. And everyone is right this is very addicting. I will stop rambling on for now. It was great to meet everyone today and hope to make alot of great friends here. I`ll let someone else talk now. Talk to you ladies on the forum bye for now.

Hi everyone. My name is Cara I am 35. I live in NY and am going through a divorce. I have been with the soon to be ex for 12 years and married for 6 years. Turned out to be a big jerk. I have an amazing daughter who is going to be 4 on Saturday and keeps me on my toes. I left work to be a stay at home mom and now am in the unfortunate situation of having no job and a jerk who thinks my daughter and I can live for free. I was a Loss Prevention Analyst at Ralph Lauren. I basically worked to catch the employees who felt they needed to steal. I stumbled upon WC when trying to find something fun and exciting that I could do at home and hopefully bring in some money. Due to a court battle I cannot make any money until all is settled so my business venture is put somewhat on hold. I have been making items for preschool and new babies, weddings, etc in the family, but no outside sales yet. I am eager to begin a new life and hopefully come out on top. Can't wait for Spring.

It's great to meet everyone and being here has actually helped me cope. Thank you to all of you for helping without even knowing. This has been a great place to come and get lost for awhile and learn some great things.

Hello everyone! My name is Mistidawn and I am the ripe age of 34. I am currently living in sunny Arizona. My husband is in the marine corp and we tend to move around alot!! So for the time being I am stuck here in the desert. We have 6 kids 14,11,10,8,5,4 whoa I know this is alot huh!! I am very involved in my kids school and also sit on the PTO. About five years for my daughters baptism I made a wrapper and well it wasnt the prettiest but ever since then I have wanted to do this. I found this site just about one month ago and I cant say enough about it!! Everyone is so kind and generous and I have really learned so much!! I am doing small jobs now for friends and family, but hope that one day I can start a biz!! Thank all of you for ya'lls help can you tell I am originally from Texas YEE HAA!!!!!!! I hope to continue to grow with the WC family and thank ya'll for all of your talented and wonderful shares!

My name is Becky, I reside in Toronto Canada originally from Ohio. Married now for 15 years with three wonderful kids and 1 granddaughter. I have always been into one craft or another, my husband tells people we have a basement full of different projects I've started. My girl friend asked if I could help her come up with something different and unique for her daughters graduation. When I seen a few sites with personalized candy bars I knew this was it. We haven't seen that here in Canada, so my wonderful husband purchased this program for me as a surprise! I have found this site to be full of wonderful and talented people. I haven't gotten into the PSP but can't wait to try it...my husband said one thing at a time...lol

Hi everyone, I guess i'm next...=0) My name is Michelle and I am from California, originally Hawaii...I have 4 the 2 oldest are boys, and the 2 youngest are girls.... 21, 19(will be 20 in 2 days), 12, and 2...YES 2....She is the joy of our lives, but boy am I tired....=0) My oldest is stationed in Germany and getting ready to go to Iraq again. the other is in college...I found this site after the fact...i was making candy leis with names on the wrappers of kitkat snack and mini's before i found this site...i used to make candy wrappers by using the measuring tape and junky cd graphics...This site saved my life...no more measuring tape....and all these awesome designers who create and share wonderful stuff...Thank you all for your shares and help...much appreciated...Oh, the hubby...i'm on here a lot because he is deployed right now and this place keeps me from getting depressed and going ***..it relaxez me and occupies my spare time(when 2 yr old is sleeping) and i Love it...Thank you everyone, I really enjoy being here and seeing your wonderful creations...I am psp illiterate but have learned to do 2 things now on it...text boxes and bubbles..LOL almost trashed it, but thanks to wonderful people on here, i think i'm keeping it....Aloha, Michelle

Howdy Ya'll.....
My name is Sally and yep....I'm from Texas! I'm orginally from Austin, but have made San Antonio my home for 25 years now. I love it here! I have a wonderful and comical husband. I tell you, there's never a dull moment in our household. After 28 years of marriage (our 29th anniversary is coming up on the 11th of this month) we still kid around like kids. We have two beautiful grown children.

Our son John Jr., 28 works at Juvenile Detention Center as an orientation officer. He has a girlfriend named April who will be getting her Masters in Psychology Communications. Our daughter, Jennifer (likes to be called Jenn) is a college student majoring in Forensic Science is engaged to Roger. They had originally set their wedding date for this June, but with Jenn so close to getting her associates, they decided to wait till next year. Whew...Thank God!!!

Our kids are truly our pride and joy.....they mean the world to us! My husband and I are so extremely proud of them. We do not have any grandchildren (not yet anyway) but our dog Fiona had 4 puppies. So, does that count as being grandparents?! :-?
No...oh well...

I got into wrapcandy totally as a fluke. A family member could not locate the lady who the year before made her daughter's birthday wrapper and when I saw it....I said I could do that. How hard can that be??? Well, at the time, I was using another software program and let me tell you... it was more complicated than I had anticipated! That program was not computer friendly and heck, I had to do the measurements myself. Foget that.....so, my husband did some wrapcandy searching on the internet and came accross WC. He directed me to it and I've been having an affair with it ever since!

I fell in love with the graphics. And....they were FREE with the program! Well, that SOLD me! WC has been the best purchase I've ever made!!! At first I was not as active in the forum until I started reading how very inspirational, helpful and caring the members were and seeing all the amazing talent that was being shared that I was totally touched. Now, I'm in here almost everyday!

Thanks to everyone for your kindness, your generous shares and for welcoming me with open arms! It certainly is my pleasure meeting ya'll!!!!

My turn my name is Betty i am going to be 47 in may i have been married for 25 yrs this month to the most wonderful man we have 7 children 24,21, 19, 17, 15, 13, 10, two in college 1 on a mission, two in high school, 1middle 1 elementry, all single,2 boys 5 girls what a joy they all are, they bring so much to our lives, we all live in Tucson Arizona we love the desert, I am a stay at home Mom have been since beginning of children, i love to craft use to do alot of wood cutting and painting, just learning how to quilt fun fun, but i love WC everyone is so nice and caring and helpful, I didnt know how to use the computer till i found WC and now i can do so much it is amazing, my kids are amazed also they use to have to do all my handouts for church or signs craft fairs but not this year, having a blast, hope to learn how to create someday have psp but thats gonna take awhile, sold good at craft shows this year made lots of fun things for family, but anyhow love it, Thank You everyone for your help
