3 inch lollipops

I made these up for my granddaughters communion a couple of weeks ago. Just an idea for you guys instead of using  chocolate with the warmer weather.  I bought the 3 inch whirly pops. I made the template square and used a 3 inch scalloped punch to cut them out. I attached them with a glue stick. I also put them on the bottom of candy apples. I got a couple of big baskets and put styrofoam on the bottom to make them stand up. I then filled in with some shredded paper. I made the mint toppers using the colored lifesavers since the kids aren't big fans of the mints. Here's a few pics......

They came out great! I always try to do non chocolate things for children. Also, for when I want to do craft shows in spring and summer. Where did you buy your lollipops?

I bought the lollipops locally Maria. There's a store not too far from me that sells all kinds of candy, both retail and wholesale. As long as you buy at least a dozen of something they will then discount the prices.
