Princess castle as baptism present

Good evening!

Just wanted to show you what I made as a gift for a baptism yesterday. A good friend of ours had her daughter baptized yesterday and they had given us an invitation (see picture) with a little fairy and a castle on it. As we didn't want to give just another set of clothes that they might have to go and change for something else again, we decided we wanted to give the parents money instead.
I made a princess castle that matches the one one the invitation (my son even made me do the little stars on the roof because he said without those it didn't really look the same, haha!), and filled the can in the middle with coins. On the back I wrote a little poem saying that we had been saving a coin every day from the day she was born until the day of the baptism. I also encouraged her (parents) to continue doing the same, so that one day she could buy her own little castle.
Anyway, I liked how it turned out and wanted to share it with you here!

Therese, I will share the castle pieces in the members section, glad you like it! The poem on the back of the can was in Greek though, so I don't suppose it will be of much help :-) The translation would be:
"For you, beautiful little princess, we have been collecting 1 coin per day inside this little present from the day you were born until this day of your baptism. If you continue doing this yourself, you will soon own your very own palace!"
