I just tried to install wrapcandy 7.1 and when I click on the wrapper type etc.. it says it doesn't support this file?? Can someone please tell me what I did wrong? Thank you.

I should have also mentioned that it says "unhandled exception has occurred in your application" .

Are you trying to install the program? Or open a wrapper? I see you have been a member since 2006, have you updated?

I bought a new computer and lost e'thing. Ryan sent me the program again today. yes, I tried to install the program and then the wrapper template will come up but I can't do anything with it.

Ok, couple a questions...you are Basic. Did you install the 7.1 Basic? Did you install the netframe files if your computer needed them? Did you Register? You need to register when you reinstall.

The error may be if you are trying to open a graphic. Always open templates...Insert graphics. The other could be...if you are opening templates but they are from the forum...they could be Pro templates and you are not able to open because you are Basic.

Like I said...a couple a questions...see if you can sort these through and we will help you figure out what could be happening...

Thanks again for your help. Yes, I registered. Netframes is already installed on my computer. I just can't seem to figure out what is going on

When you see graphic wrappers (and they are not cwr) you will get the error if you save them and try to open them into the software...and why the error it doesn't support the file. Wrap Candy can only open cwr's/templates. But you insert graphics and that means, when you see a graphic wrapper, you save it...open a blank template that it is for like Standard, etc. and then you click Edit/Add Image then Select Image and go to the folder where you saved this graphic wrapper. Open there and it will pop onto your screen.

I think...this is what's going on...
For a new member...templates and graphics can get confusing because templates look like a graphic. Just remember, if it ends with cwr, it's a template. If it ends with jpeg or png, it's a graphic.
