I see many of you have started creating your page, but have not customized it or added categories.

Here are some tips:

To create a category,  login to your admiin area:

http://www.YourPlaceMarket.com/ADMIN/

Click on PRODUCTS >>> Select Categories.  Near the bottom, there is an option to add new category.

Once you have added a category click >>> Products >>>Products >> Click on your category name and start adding your first product. 

To get products on your home page be sure to feature them.  Click PRODUCTS >>> PRODUCTS >>> Then click on Featured Products.  After that simply click on the name to feature them and then they will show up on your main page.

Also, you can edit the main template so your company name (is your company name)

Just click on TEMPLATES >>> MODIFY >> then click the arrow all the way to the left to edit your main page using an online editor.

Great Idea...thank you for doing this.  For those who don't have a web site yet...you really need to get in on this!

I have a question though....how do we fix it for the customer to "download" the product?  Don't we need to upload it to your server?

OK I am trying....got signed up and got an item on the page, but I want to get to the other pages to make changes (specifically, the Links page). I cannot figure out how to get to the Links page to add a link for visitors to click on.

To change your about, links and so forth follow these steps:

Click WEBSITE >>> MANAGEMENT

Next, drag the edit looking icon (Hold the Left Mouse button down and drag the icon over the page you want to change or edit.

Let go of your left mouse button, and give it a minute.  A page editor should appear.

You use the username and passord you used to sign up.

Most likely the store name:

Be sure you are logging in here and not into your store.

RYAN...just double checking........are we able to make the products downloadable?
I tried but could not get it to take the link...I just put that I would send the link after.

You're supposed to be able to create downloadable products.  I will try to add one and get back to you.

I was able to add a digital download using a linik.  are you using a standard link such as:

I tried using the store name and my own name, but it keeps telling me wrong user name or password.  I tried to redo the sign-up process and it says username all ready exists.
