Well, it's after Christmas, yet just before New Years... it's the last Friday of the year ! Good thing ? OR bad? Don't really know just yet. The day's still young.
We're still vacationing here in L.A., staying at my sister's house. Kids are having the time of their life playing with their cousins, I just hate to think of Monday when we have to say our Good-byes and head back home... Speaking of heading back home, it's gonna cost us at least $450.00 to rent a car on a 1 way trip from Cali to Texas. How ridiculously expensive is that??? But, plane is way more expensive than that & only other option would be the Greyhound, and there is absolutely no way I'm getting on that thing with my little girls. I love them too much to put them thru that torture!!! A regular 18 hour drive can take up to 28 hours on that thing, IF you're lucky ! So no thank you. I think we're going to have to stick with renting a car, even if it puts us about $500 bucks in the whole. Oh well, spending Christmas with family was worth it! Even though we're gonna have to put it on a credit card, which I was SOOO happy we have a 0 balance on, well, not for long! Cha-ching ...
Well, my sis and brother-in-law insist hubby and I go out on a date tonight, just the 2 of us, and they'll watch the girls for us... Guess we'll have to consider that! But where oh where should we go??? Gotta think of something !
Well anyways, hope everybody's holidays have been going wonderful, Thank God ours have!!! Just dreading Monday when we have to drive bk home !!!! Ugggh!
