Well, tomorrow is my big day! It doesn't bother me that I'm turning 30. I know some people have a hard time with getting older, but I feel like I'm where I want to be... So, no biggie!
I had a doctor appointment today and everything went well. I took them a quart filled with suckers and a quart filled with minis. They LOVED them. They do so much for me, so I thought I'd do something nice for them. It looks like Jacob could be born on Friday, the 13th! Eeekk! I'm not so sure I like that idea, but if we schedule him to be born then, I'll have a doctor that I really like delivering him. So, we'll see. It's just a day, right? And I'm not normally so superstitious!
My WONDERFUL husband surprised me with an early birthday gift yesterday. I have been complaining about not having a decent knife for a long time. And since I LOVE to cook, it's a big deal. So, he got me a Henckels knife set! It's AWESOME. I mean, I cut through a bag of carrots like they were butter. I couldn't believe it. I am so excited! Some women like jewelry or fancy dinners... Give me a kitchen gadget or an appliance, and I'm the happiest woman around! He wanted to get me something really nice since it's a big birthday... And he did a great job!
