I can't beleive it I did some mint covers for a baby shower today and they didn'y turn out to bad for my first try.

How does everyone cut there things. I always have to outline everything i do and then cut it out. Not always strait. Thank you

Lori

I use the 12"  Carl Pro Rotary Trimmer for all my cutting.  Except for the gable boxes, I find they are a little time consuming.

I have outlines on most things but I try to do it in gray as opposed to black because it's less noticablee if you miss when trimming...investing in a paper cutter for items with straight edges will save you time and will ensure a straighter cut.

I really like doing the "Mint Matchbooks". Right now I'm working on some to make for my daughters wedding in July. They are so easy and fast to put together.

Her colors she chose are Ruby Red & White, so I'm usuing, white glossy photopaper, 8 mil., which is very nice for her colors, the text is, Lucinda Caligraphy, font size 10, text color, "Ruby Red". I have done them before on the colored glossy photopaper to which also has a very nice effect.

Love,

Cathy

I think the "Mintbooks" are a great, quick and easy product too! Can I ask what weight of paper you're using? I'm still trying to find one that makes me happy.
