My favorite movies are ones that leave me feeling something - like the movie Crash and Little Miss Sunshine. I really like foreign movies and indie films. I'm not to much into romantic comedies or really gross horror movies. I like dramas, some action, and comedies, some scary (but not gross) movies.

Love the 80's - of course I was an 80's child. I also like alternative rock, I just bought Rammsteins newest CD today, so kinda into some heavier stuff. But I like jazz, instrumental, R&B, new age, rock, really all the latest stuff aside from rap and country(just can't get into that), I'm really pretty open to what kind of music I listen to. My favorite bands right now are Green Day, Foo Fighters, John Mayer, The Killers,

I love most everything by James Patterson. Like murder mysteries. No romance or sappy novels. I do like Janet Evanovich, she's funny. Most favorite book of all would be Stephen Kings "The Talisman"

Well,I am a transplant from Washington State, moved here about 7 years ago (I can't believe it has been that long!). I lived in Washington all my life, we moved over here because all of my husband's family is here and for the jobs. It's been hard finding friends here in Michigan, at my age everyone is usually already set in friendships and don't have time for new ones. I really miss my hometown and hope to someday go back, Michigan life just aint for me.

Anyway, I'm married (16 years this 4th of July), I have a 12 year old son. I am currently going back to school working on my bachelors in psych. My current career is a legal assistant.

I love 80's music, alternative rock, pretty much everything but country, rap, oldies, so on. My current hobby is making candles, I'm a candle freak, I also make jewelry (beads), I do like to draw and paint but can't seem to find the time to fit that into my life right now. I love to camp, go to drive in theatres in the summer. and spending time with my family.

I'm pretty laid back, open minded (meaning I am not prejudiced against sex preference, race, religion preference), I can have a sarcastic sense of humor, I'm a loyal friend and like to work things out when there is a rift.

So in a nutshell that's a little bit about me. I'm just looking for friends here in Michigan.
