I altered a candle... for a swap I am .. This is my first time doing this so bear with me, it is very simple in it's design.. Now that I know I can do this I am going to make several more personalized candles for Teachers gifts and such.. yeah! (Next time I will take a picture before I wrap it up) It says Surfs Up Then has a picture of a surfer on a board

Here is a Diaper Cake I made for a Baby Shower. The woman is having a Boy and with limited supply of Ribbon on hand (note to self...buy more ribbon) I used what was/is available to me currently.. On this diaper cake is a pair of shoes, a medicine kit: with bulb syringe, nail clippers, medicine spoon, thermometer and 5 onesies..

I am so excited!! After 3 years in Japan without my family I am finally going to California to see them! I am very close with my family and I miss them so much internet phone and letters is nothing compared to up close and personal! Hopefully if I have not heard about approval from running the business from hom ebefore I go, I will at least here by the time I get back! Thanks everyone I just wanted to share my JOY!
I am still awaiting approval from the base.. I can not advertise or sell anyting until I receive approval.. UGHGH I wish they would hurry up!
4 more days until my kids go back to school. I am already just so lost with them being underfoot all of the time.. For some reason I can not even keep my dates straight. My Dh is upset that my youngest missed cheerleading practice today... It is my fault, I can't remember what day of the week it is LOL.. not really funny....
Being a military wife and living on a military base, I have to run and operate through different channels as well as others. I am waiting for approval from the Base Commander to run a business through my home. Then there is the you can not make money via the military post office, so I am unable to have a website because I am unable to sell products and mail them to the clients. I am waiting to hear more on this, because any home business can be ran but the product must be received directly to each person who is ordering and not to the seller to distribute.. Does that make sense? Just thought I would update on my business ........
Christmas has come and gone.. 3 weeks of shopping, countless hours creating and preparing candy wrappers and it is now over... relief... yes... sadness.. yes ... This was the first year I made Christmas dinner completely by myself.. I am and my DH is very proud of me as well. It was delicious, granted there were not mashed potatoes made from real potatoes ( the cmmissary was sold out) and a few other altered to acommodate what was available... it was good...
