I was wondering if anyone has ever put together anything to raise money for a local non profit organization. 

You see my best friend was murdered almost exactly a year ago.  this Friday is her birthday.  I would like to do something to raise money, so that by the time the 1 year rolls around, I can make a donation to an organization that helps women get out of abusive situations. 

If anyone has any ideas or information please let me know.

How much free time do you get?? I mean away from kids and hubby?  Do you have your own room you sneak off to, an alone time schedule, or are you just lucky enough to now have a problem getting along time.  I know a lot of you probably have kids that are grown and dont really have the problem any more but with little kids how do things work for you?  I don't feel like I have enough alone time.  I count the minutes to my sons next nap time sometimes. lol. 

How do you hubbys or wifeys feel about your computer time, or wrapping time?  How long have you been doing this?

I don't know why but I get in these modes when I just feel the constant need to do different things.  To look up like 10 different things at once and try to do everything.  WHY.  Then I get tired of being overwhelmed, and ask myself why am I doing this.  Maybe just complete one project first and them move on.  I just hate getting stuck or having problems with something that I just move on to the next things.  lol.  I have problems. lol

So on another note.  How do babies/toddlers know when you have plans.  How do they know that you plan on leaving the house at a certain time, so they try to wait to take their naps, so that they are sleeping when its time to leave??  Why when you go to sleep really late, is the next morning the day they decide to wake up really early.  Why when you dress them in new clothes do they throw up or their diapers leak? Those are just a few of the quiestions I have. lol

Here comes the snow.  O great.  I can do without it.  The ground and streets are covered.  I have seen on the news about the ice storms everywhere and all the power outages.  GREAT Just what we need. lol. 

I hope all of you are safe and all is well.  Stay warm and be careful if you have to go out in bad weather.
